Say Good-Bye to Decals: DIY Artwork for Nurseries

I know I have used decals in my designs and there are some cute ones available for kids, but consider some D-I-Y artwork for nurseries that will add personality and color.  Make it yourself and the nursery truly becomes special and one-of-a-kind, just like your baby. Here are a few ideas I’ve been thinking of for Baby Holladay’s nursery:

Homemade Mobile:

Babies love mobiles and they are proven to stimulate brain activity, so make one that fits your decor. This one is made from colored felt and fishing line – so cute and easy!

What a Day Makes: Personalized Artwork:
I love this idea…so sweet and something your baby will cherish their entire life.

Button Art:
Buttons are a fun and easy way to add color and have fun making your child’s favorite character. They add texture and fun to a nursery.

Song Lyrics or Favorite Framed Images:
You can literally frame ANYTHING! Pick your favorite kid’s book, print out some images or favorite quotes and buy some inexpensive frames.

Be Creative!
The rope name and the striped ceiling are right up my alley.
